Omar is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate, real property, and financial transactions. Omar was graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia in 2011 and completed his Master’s in International Business Law (LL.M) from Queen Mary University of London in 2017, graduating with Merit, and was supported by a prestigious Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education scholarship.
Omar has consistently demonstrated exceptional acumen in navigating complex legal landscapes. His career began in 2011 with a valuable tenure at Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners (HPRP) (currently known as Dentons HPRP), a big law firm in Indonesia, gaining substantial experience in corporate law and M&As, property transactions, foreign direct investment, and financial transaction. During his tenure, Omar contributed to various significant projects, including land acquisitions, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance matters for both local and international clients.
In 2019 he joined CFLD International as Associate Director where he was able to deepen his expertise in real estate, foreign direct investment and general corporate transactions. He has been involved in complex negotiations and agreements related to property development, land acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. In addition, his experience in CFLD International has given him wisdom to settle the issue between the company and its customer/vendor in a way that is for the company’s interest. His pragmatic approach and attention to detail ensure effective legal support across diverse business operations.
